Represented a restaurant chain in a highly contested Chapter 11 bankruptcy case. This engagement involved addressing numerous industry-specific issues, such as negotiating with critical vendors under the Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act and the Packers and Stockyards Act. The representation also required extensive negotiations with landlords regarding restaurant leases, reflecting the complex interplay between franchise operations, supply chain relationships, and real estate in the food and beverage.
Represented a municipal bond insurer in one of the largest municipal bankruptcies in United States history.
Represented an existing equity holder and new money sponsor in a large cross-border Chapter 11 restructuring.
Represented clothing stores in their joint Chapter 11 liquidation proceedings. This engagement included the formation and representation of a litigation trust during post-confirmation activities.
Represented the largest member of the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors in an amazon aggregator’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy case.
