Jimmy Theodorou is a senior partner in the global real estate practice, based in London. Jimmy chairs the firm’s Global Real Estate Group and advises clients across the full investment lifecycle of real estate ownership — from capital deployment and acquisition structuring through asset management, repositioning, and exit. Advised long-standing client Reuben Brothers on the £300 million purchase of the famous Burlington Arcade from New York property group Thor Equities and European private equity firm Meyer Bergman. The historic retail arcade, which opened in 1819, offers 37,000 feet of luxury London retail space attracting over four million visitors every year.

Represented a London-based investment client in connection with the £160 million financing of a portfolio of health clubs across the UK.

Advising Reuben Brothers on the redevelopment of Cambridge House, a Grade I listed townhouse (formerly the In and Out Club), and adjacent buildings in Mayfair with over 300 ft of frontage to Piccadilly, overlooking Green Park in London W1.

Acted on the acquisition and simultaneous leaseback of the Curtain Hotel and Members Club in Shoreditch, London.

Advised Reuben Brothers on the takeover of Newcastle United Football Club by a consortium including the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia (PIF) and PCP Capital Partners, led by Amanda Staveley.

Advised London & Regional on the acquisition and subsequent refinancing of its Atlas Hotel portfolio, consisting of approximately 50 hotels which it purchased for £575 million.

Advised London & Regional on the purchase and subsequent disposal of 99 City Road, London for £150 million.

Advised Reuben Brothers on the £110 million acquisition of multi-let office premises at 27 Knightsbridge, London.

Advised MHA as receivers on the £64 million sale of the former Blackfriars Crown Court, a 1.4 acre site in London, to Blackstone’s iQ Student business.
