Rafael is an associate in the Labor and Employment Group. His practice focuses on defending employers in litigation, as well as advising companies on compliance with state and federal employment laws. Rafael's practice includes a significant amount of complex wage and hour litigation, including defending against meal and rest break, overtime, minimum wage, off-the-clock, and misclassification claims. He also has substantial experience with suits alleging claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, defamation, misappropriation of trade secrets, and wrongful termination.
