Nick’s practice focuses on event driven finance and he has particular expertise in advising private equity sponsors, large corporates, asset managers, private credit funds and financial institutions on the structuring and execution of complex, cross-border financing transactions.
Nick’s extensive experience covers a wide range of transactions including private equity led buyouts and buy-ins, recapitalizations, venture and growth finance, private equity real estate, asset based finance, general corporate lending, restructuring and special situations. He is skilled at advising clients on a range of different debt structures including unitranche loans, second-lien financings, first out/last out structures, holdco PIK and other subordinated facilities, revolving credit facilities, receivables and asset backed facilities (include SaaS and subscription based models) and other innovative financing transactions.
Nick has a keen interest in impact investing and the circular economy and has advised on a number of ground breaking ESG and sustainability linked loan structures.
