Reed Smith adds depth to broker-dealer and investment adviser practice with the return of partner Kiran Somashekara

NEW YORK – Reed Smith today announced that Kiran Somashekara has rejoined the firm as a partner in the firm’s Financial Industry Group, based in Princeton, NJ. Somshekara, who joins Reed Smith from McGuireWoods, where he was a partner, served as counsel at Reed Smith from 2014 to 2016.

Reed Smith adds Scott T. Williams to Managed Care Group in Dallas

DALLAS – Scott T. Williams has joined Reed Smith’s Dallas office as Counsel in the firm’s Global Commercial Disputes Group where he will work with the Managed Care Group. Williams has extensive experience within the healthcare industry and was previously Senior Associate General Counsel at Health Care Service Corporation, Richardson, TX.

DALLAS – Reed Smith today announced the addition of Nigel Stark as a partner in the Global Corporate Group in Dallas. A recognized technology lawyer who advises on tech transactions and outsourcing, Stark is the sixth partner to join the firm in Dallas since the office opened in May 2019 with 16 lawyers.
