Jenine has more than a decade of experience in the UAE, advising global and regional clients on contentious matters across a variety of sectors. She also has advocacy and trial experience in U.S. federal and state courts.
Jenine has extensive experience with contentious and non-contentious employment-related matters in onshore UAE, ADGM, DIFC and various other free zones. She provides guidance in accordance with the UAE Labour Law, the ADGM Employment Law, the DIFC Employment Law and other free-zone-specific employment regulations. She has also advised government and semi-government clients on their respective employment regulations.
Additionally, Jenine advises government authorities on regulatory matters, including policymaking and legislative drafting in areas such as employment law, fundraising, sports and community volunteering, attending stakeholder meetings and presenting to government decision-makers.
Jenine is passionate about social impact and pro bono work. Over the last decade, she has worked extensively with various global and local non-profits on issues such as women’s rights, human exploitation, death sentencing, refugee status, environmental sustainability and global philanthropy.
