In addition to representing clients on transactions, Mark routinely provides outside general counsel services and day-to-day operational guidance to clients.

Prior to joining Reed Smith, Mark was associate general counsel for a manager of private equity real estate investment and debt funds. In this role, Mark advised on the purchase, disposition, financing and equity structuring of millions of square feet of real estate, as well as the formation and operation of real estate funds.
