Reed Smith advises momoGood in its formation through Tatango–Givergy combination

LONDON and ATLANTA – Global law firm Reed Smith represented momoGood, a fundraising and engagement technology company, in its creation as a new company through the combination of Tatango, a text-based fundraising platform, and Givergy, an event and auction technology provider. The transaction was backed by Edison Partners and Vocap Partners, with Edison taking majority ownership.

The new company provides more than 2,500 nonprofit, political, and corporate organizations across North America, Europe, Hong Kong, and Australia with a single platform for text-based outreach and event-based giving.

The Reed Smith deal was led by Chris Maxwell, Tom Whelan, and James Hatchard and included Edward Champman and Shuwen Yu.
