PARIS – Reed Smith advised the shareholders of BIO LAB 33, a French company specialising in medical biology and laboratory diagnostics, on its combination with Inovie Group, one of France’s leading groups in medical diagnostics and health care services.
Based in the Bordeaux metropolitan area and its surroundings, BIO LAB 33 operates 18 local centres and employs 170 people, including 18 biologists. Nearly all analyses are carried out at its recently renovated technical platform.
This transaction is in line with Inovie Group’s strategy, further developing its presence in Gironde. BIO LAB 33 can draw on the group’s national network, expertise, and specialised platforms. New synergies are also expected, benefiting both patients and health care professionals.
