Levy advises developers, manufacturers, contractors, and investors on conventional and renewable energy deals, with a focus on project development, equipment supply and service arrangements, EPC and construction contracts, acquisitions and dispositions, and other portfolio transactions. He has also represented private and public companies in technology and life science matters.

“Kevin’s return adds transactional depth to our energy offering and San Francisco office as the California market continues to evolve,” said Paul W. Pitts, managing partner of Reed Smith’s San Francisco office. “We are seeing investment in power generation and storage infrastructure, particularly in battery energy storage, so the timing is ideal.”

Levy's experience includes advising developers, including those in the renewable energy space, on sales, warranty, service, EPC, and other construction contracts, including negotiating battery purchase and service contracts.  He has also counseled investors on joint ventures for portfolios of natural gas, battery energy storage, and wind assets.

Prior to his return to Reed Smith, Levy was at Norton Rose Fulbright. He earned his J.D. from The George Washington University Law School and his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.
