Barbara Li, Timothy Cooke, Hagen Rooke singled out for top honours
The finalists include:
- Timothy Cooke (Singapore) - International Arbitration Lawyer of the Year
- Barbara Li (Beijing) - Data Privacy Lawyer of the Year
- Hagen Rooke (Singapore) - Fintech and Digital Assets Lawyer of the Year
Li recently earned a top Band 1 individual ranking for TMT: Data Protection & Privacy (International Firms) in the 2024 Chambers Greater China guide. She also won Data Protection Lawyer of the Year at the Legal 500 China Awards in December last year.
Cooke received an individual ranking for Dispute Resolution: Arbitration in the 2024 Chambers Global guide. The guide also recognized Reed Smith’s arbitration practice in Singapore by ranking it for Dispute Resolution: Arbitration: Elite.
Rooke earned a top Band 1 individual ranking in the 2024 Chambers FinTech guide, the fourth consecutive year that the publication has named him as a leading individual.
The Asia Legal Awards honour the best work in the region, recognising some of the most important transactions and complex matters happening in Asia. Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony held in Singapore on 14 March.
