Emad has more than 15 years of experience advising both government and private sector clients on privatised and publicly procured infrastructure, development projects, and concessions across Saudi Arabia. Over the past decade, he has provided guidance on many of the country’s most significant projects, including airports, road and rail networks, power plants, commercial and residential developments, oil and gas facilities, water supply plants, hotels, and education facilities.

Experience

Representative matters

Advised the operator of King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah in connection with the financing of the airport’s operations and maintenance by Saudi Arabian banks.
Advised a reputable Saudi Arabian group company in connection with the KAIA Development Project Phase I in Jeddah, including contracts for the terminal complex, the control tower and supporting facilities.
Advised a major Saudi Arabian construction company, as the primary subcontractor, in connection with the approximately US$200 million in financing for the construction of the PP9 power plant.
