Represented a leading German investment fund in setting up its UK operations and subsequently investing, by way of a joint venture and corporate acquisition, in a prime mixed-use development in Fitzrovia, London. Graham project managed all aspects of the transaction, including financing, real estate, environmental, construction and planning. As a second phase of this project, he has managed the on-boarding of an additional investor.
Acted on behalf of an asset management company in a joint venture and acquisition in the purchase of a prime office and light industrial estate comprised of 60 separate buildings near Reading, for £245 million.

Advised a joint venture (between a property company and US private equity house) on its acquisition of three mixed-use business parks in the UK for £430 million. The transaction involved acquisitions through a complex corporate structure.
Advised a joint venture on the acquisition of a £120 million portfolio of properties in England, Wales and Scotland by way of the purchase of various corporate entities in the UK and other jurisdictions. The transaction involved a complex restructuring of the ownership of the portfolio of 24 properties prior to exchange.
Acted on behalf of Patrizia AG in relation to the acquisition of First Street, Manchester. First Street is a mixed-use site with hotel, leisure, retail and office space together with large areas of undeveloped land with the benefit of planning consent for further commercial and residential development. The transaction was very challenging from a corporate perspective, involving complex real estate, planning and construction aspects including due diligence and the negotiation of complex contract provisions. The site was undergoing a phased programme of construction work including the construction of a hotel, multi-storey car park, retail units, a cultural hub and associated public realm works.
Acted on behalf of a leading U.S. REIT in relation to the £230 million purchase of a portfolio of 73 single-tenant car showrooms located in England and Scotland and leased to the largest automotive retailer in the UK. We subsequently advised on the intra-group transfer from the Luxembourg owning company to a Dutch holding company.
Acted on behalf of a joint venture between Greycoat Real Estate and funds managed by Cheyne Capital on the purchase of Salisbury Square House in the City of London. We also advised in relation to the planning, development and construction contract aspects of an extensive refurbishment of the building.
Acted for a joint venture between a property company and Scottish bank in the purchase of a portfolio of distribution units in England, Scotland, Belgium and The Netherlands for a reported price of circa £97 million.
Acted for a German closed end fund in relation to the purchase of a building in the City of London for in excess of £96 million.
Acted on behalf of a property company in the acquisition of a multi-let investment property in central London and the formation of a limited partnership structure to acquire the investment and to act as a vehicle for the providers of equity for the investment. The transaction also involved advising on the documentation required in relation to the provision of finance for the acquisition by a bank providing both senior and mezzanine debt.
Acted for a German special fund in purchasing numerous office and retail spaces of varying sizes, mostly between £15 million and £40 million, and entering into joint ventures.
