Assisted a senior housing REIT in the acquisition and financing, through a RIDEA structure, of over 100 senior living facilities (i.e., assisted living, independent living and memory care) with a value in excess of $2.2 billion over the past several years.
Assisted an investment management firm in the acquisition and development of medical outpatient buildings, ambulatory surgery centers and specialty hospitals with a value in excess of $1 billion over the past several years.
Representing a multifamily and student housing developer in connection with the acquisition, financing, development and construction of projects in various states through programmatic joint ventures with institutional equity providers. Recent transactions include the development of a mixed-use project including multifamily and life science buildings on a campus in Massachusetts, the development of an urban transit-oriented, mixed-use project in Arizona with a value of $450 million, and the acquisition of a portfolio of three communities in Arizona and Texas for $198 million.

Represented a developer in the acquisition of a mixed-use project consisting of two large multifamily apartment buildings, parking garage and retail spaces for $98 million, which project was acquired through a joint venture with an institutional equity partner, and financed through the assumption of an existing mortgage loan.
Represented a national senior housing REIT in completing the final closing of a $485 million transaction involving the acquisition of 25 senior housing facilities in Michigan. All the facilities are now owned through a RIDEA (REIT) structure in joint venture with its new operator partner.
Represented an institutional lender in connection with the financing of an acquisition of 275 industrial facilities by a public REIT with a loan value in excess of $1 billion.
Represented a private equity investor in the acquisition of 50 life sciences facilities for a purchase price in excess of $135 million
Represented financial institutions in the workout and restructuring of preferred equity investments and loans in excess of $100 million on shopping centers, office buildings, condominium/townhouse projects and single family residential projects in Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey and Florida.
Represented various developers in the development and financing of wind and solar power projects in various states
