Jay has a successful track record of structuring and negotiating complex financing arrangements. His practice is concentrated on acquisition finance and recapitalization transactions, and he frequently handles cash flow and asset-based financing for a variety of agent banks, lead arrangers and other capital providers. In addition to representing capital providers, he also represents private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in a wide array of financing transactions.

Represented CIBC Bank in a $1-billion syndicated credit facility for a privately held manufacturing company.
Represented CIBC Bank in a multi-bank secured credit facility for a leading private equity sponsor in support of its acquisition of a defense technology company.
Represented US Bank in a $450 million lending arrangement with a privately held multi-national aerospace and defense company.
