Justin helps clients navigate complex, cross-border regulatory challenges with practical, business-focused solutions.
He advises on sanctions, export controls, customs and import regulations, and antiboycott compliance, as well as anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws and anti-money-laundering requirements. He also conducts internal investigations and represents clients in government enforcement matters, including seizures, detentions, penalty cases, and administrative appeals.
Justin has guided clients through voluntary self-disclosures that resulted in no further action, provided day-to-day counseling when unexpected regulatory changes disrupted operations, and strengthened compliance programs to mitigate future risk.
Before beginning his legal career, Justin spent a decade in compliance-focused roles in higher education, where he developed policies, led investigations and remediation efforts, and delivered practical training programs.
