Margaret C. McDonald

Margaret’s prior experience includes defending large corporations, investor-owned public utilities, and property owners during all stages of litigation, in matters ranging from environmental clean-up and wildfire litigation to catastrophic losses and international real property disputes.

During law school, Margaret was an extern for the Hon. Maureen Tighe in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Central District of California; a Senior Editor of the Notre Dame Journal of Law, Ethics, & Public Policy; and a student at the Notre Dame London Law Centre. She graduated magna cum laude from Notre Dame, where she was on the Dean’s List from 2013 to 2015 and received Dean’s Awards in Negotiations, Jurisprudence, and International Trade.

Prior to law school, Margaret graduated cum laude from the University of San Francisco, with a B.A. in History. While an undergraduate, she spent a year at the University of Oxford, where she studied medieval British history. In her spare time, Margaret enjoys reading, traveling, and cooking.
