Zachary focuses his practice on representing employers in workplace matters including navigating compliance with the National Labor Relations Act, litigating unfair labor practice charges, guiding companies through the union representation petition process, advising on labor relations for full or partially organized workforces, defending companies against class and collective actions, assisting with internal investigations, and counseling public, private, and nonprofit entities on a range of workplace matters. Those include issues concerning the National Labor Relations Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, state wage payment laws, the Americans with Disabilities Act, Title VII, and analogous state anti-discrimination laws. He also counsels and defends employers on day-to-day issues such as employee discipline, termination, and employees’ leaves of absence.

Negotiated bargaining ground rules and select provisions of initial collective bargaining agreement on behalf of 501(c)(3) organization. Challenged petitioned-for bargaining unit of health care employees, resulting in withdrawal of petition at hearing.
