Ben joined Reed Smith in 2012 as a member of the Records & E-Discovery Group. He has experience with document analysis projects involving large scale civil litigation, DOE, SEC, and FDA investigations, pharmaceutical products liability, patent infringement, and employment discrimination, among other issues.
In his role as an E-Discovery Attorney, Ben regularly reviews documents for responsiveness, confidentiality, privilege, and key issues. He has also led review teams, where his responsibilities include providing guidance and feedback to other attorneys, communicating with case teams about critical case issues, and preparing privilege and redaction logs for production sets.
In 2017-2018, Ben was appointed to a six-month secondment with a medical device manufacturer, where he provided support reviewing contracts and adapting forms following the purchase of a new line of business.
