Jason is a partner in the Business & Finance group. He concentrates his practice in the areas of acquisitions and divestitures of businesses and intellectual property; the formation of joint ventures and strategic alliances; general corporate and commercial law; advising directors and shareholders of privately and publicly held companies; and the licensing and development of intellectual property.
Jason is a former director of Capri Corp., a software development company, and Strube Celery & Vegetable Co., the largest distributor of fresh fruits and vegetables in the Midwest. He is also a member of the board of the Logan Square Club of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Chicago and a past member of the corporate board of directors of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Chicago. Jason is also a frequent speaker at the Veterans Administration’s Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities, held annually at Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management. In 2021, Jason was recognized by BTI Consulting Group as a BTI M&A Client Service All-Star, and in 2017, he was recognized as one of 319 lawyers worldwide on its BTI Client Service All-Star list for providing superior service to clients.
