Helena is an experienced associate in our London team, undertaking a broad spectrum of employment work. She qualified into the Employment Group in 2005. Helena spent a period working in-house with Nokia where she provided senior level labour and employment law support on a global basis, before returning to the firm.
Helena regularly advises on a diverse range of employment issues, supporting clients in a range of sectors including finance, insurance, telecommunications and media. She has considerable experience of conducting litigation in the Employment Tribunals, regularly acting for clients in connection with various types of complex and high-value claims including discrimination and whistleblowing. She is also experienced in advising clients on matters involving individual and team moves, including the enforcement of garden leave provisions, restrictive covenants and confidentiality obligations, and the litigation of disputes involving these issues in the High Court.
Helena is regularly involved in the management of significant employment projects, often involving multiple jurisdictions, and the provision of strategic advice on matters such as global restructuring processes and remuneration reviews.
