Helena is an associate in Reed Smith’s Labor & Employment Group in London. Helena qualified into the Group in 2005 and has a broad range of experience, supporting clients across a range of sectors. Helena recently returned to Reed Smith following a two year period in-house with Nokia where she provided labor law support across all parts of Nokia’s business, on a global basis.
Helena has significant experience of large-scale projects such as global restructurings, as well as in acting for clients in employment litigation both before the High Court (e.g. taking steps to enforce post-termination restrictive covenants and in connection with the protection of confidential information) and in the Employment Tribunals for complex and high value cases.
Helena regularly advises clients on a wide range of employment matters including employment contracts and handbooks, settlement agreements, grievance and disciplinary matters, dismissals, performance and sickness management, redundancies, discrimination, equal pay, and the employment aspects of corporate transactions.
