Reed Smith multi-office PE team advises Rakiza Infrastructure Fund on its first acquisition in Saudi Arabia

NEW YORK – Global law firm Reed Smith announced that it has advised Rakiza Infrastructure Fund, an Omani infrastructure fund on its first successful acquisition in Saudi Arabia. Rakiza acquired a 40% stake in a power generation company, Tihama Power Generation Company (“Tihama Power”).

The Reed Smith team was led by corporate partners Mark Pedretti, Sam Webster and Adela Mues and was supported by senior associate Tufayel Hussain, together with a wider team of Energy and Natural Resources and Financial Industry Group lawyers from the London and UAE offices who assisted on the due diligence and other legal workstreams.
