PHILADELPHIA – Global law firm Reed Smith served as health care regulatory counsel to Webster Equity Partners and its portfolio company, Retina Consultants of America, in its entry into a definitive agreement to sell RCA to Cencora, Inc. (NYSE: COR) for approximately $4.6 billion in cash and up to $500 million in aggregate contingent consideration, provided certain predefined business objectives are met. The transaction is subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions, including required regulatory approvals.
