On 12 April 2023, Yves Melin and Isabel Fressynet (Brussels) led their second webinar on the EU’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism ("CBAM") with a Moroccan audience. Our two lawyers discussed, before an audience of more than 100 enterprises, the significance of the CBAM for Moroccan businesses exporting to the EU, and the importance of knowing their carbon footprint and the carbon footprint of their suppliers.

This presentation was hosted by the Moroccan Export Association ASMEX (Association Marocaine des Exportateurs) and the Belgium-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Morocco, and was introduced by Belgium’s ambassador to Morocco.
