Gautam, alongside independent arbitrator Justice Srikrishna, will co-chair the full-day event, which promises to connect leading arbitration practitioners from across India and deliver five cutting-edge panel discussions covering the latest trends in Indian arbitration.

International arbitration lawyer Lucy Winnington-Ingram will also take part in the event and present in a panel discussion exploring “The state of play of investor-state arbitration: a view from India and elsewhere.”

The panel will discuss questions such as: Could aspects of investor-state arbitration be improved? If so, which? And to what extent have local courts been supportive and respectful of investment treaty arbitration, including enforcing awards?
