LONDON – Reed Smith has advised Warehouse REIT on its successful fundraising, undertaken by way of a placing, open offer and offer for subscription, raising £76.48 million.

Warehouse REIT, a real estate investment trust with a portfolio and investment strategy focused on UK urban warehouses, issued 74,254,043 New Ordinary Shares at 103 pence per share, raising gross proceeds of £76.48 million. 

The transaction was led in London by partner and co-head of Reed Smith’s Global Corporate Group Delphine Currie, supported by partner Gareth Amdor and associates Johnathan Webber, Chloe Man, Thomas Baxter, Harrison Stimson and trainee solicitor Lloyd Scragg. The transaction was also supported by Financial Industry Group partner Daniel Winterfeldt, alongside counsel Trish O’Donnell and associate Daniel Teplin.

This transaction marks a continued relationship between Reed Smith and Warehouse REIT with the firm having advised on its admission to AIM in September 2017 and having acted for it in February 2018, in connection with its acquisition of a portfolio of 51 multi-let UK warehouse assets for £116 million.
