Cheng practices in Reed Smith’s Global Corporate Group and is based in the firm’s New York office. She currently serves as U.S. vice chair of the firm’s Global Corporate Group and previously served as the global vice chair of the firm’s M&A Group. Her practice focuses on representing Fortune 500, international, and middle market companies in a wide range of corporate transactions both domestic and cross-border.
In 2021, Cheng was named one of six winners of The American Lawyer’s “Young Lawyer of the Year” award. She was recognized for her leadership in successfully managing a global practice group of some 200 lawyers, for her contributions in building Reed Smith’s public M&A practice, and for her representation of high-profile clients in several significant M&A transactions.
