PARIS – Reed Smith senior associate and international arbitration lawyer Vanessa Thieffry was newly elected to the Paris Arbitration Week (PAW) board at the PAW General Assembly this week.

Since its inception in 2017, PAW has become the most attended international arbitration event globally. In 2021, a record number of 114 events were organized with 99 associating partners and 8,500 arbitration practitioners.

Thieffry, along with newly elected board members ICC Regional Director for Africa Diamana Diawara and Bredin Prat senior associate Elsa Paparemborde, will join the PAW Organizing Committee for a three-year term. The committee designs this week-long annual event aimed at connecting the global community of arbitration practitioners, and promoting Paris as a key hub for international arbitration.
