International law firm Reed Smith has been shortlisted in four categories of the LMG Life Sciences EMEA 2023 Awards. Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in London on July 13.
The firm as a whole was nominated in three categories, and one of the firm’s leading intellectual property (IP) partners was nominated for Lawyer of the Year. The nominations are:
- Antitrust & Competition Firm of the Year
- France Firm of the Year
- Greece Firm of the Year
- Marianne Schaffner is in the running for Patent Strategy & Management Lawyer of the Year
Schaffner leads the IP team in Paris and the firm’s patent practice in Europe. She is recognized for coordinating and managing complex national and transnational patent, trade secret and trademark disputes in the health care, life sciences, chemistry, and telecommunications sectors.
Last year, Reed Smith won LMG's 2022 Greece Firm of the Year.
