NEW YORK – Global law firm Reed Smith has continued to operate as one of the most active law firms for private equity transactions, having posted standout results in the third quarter of 2024, according to research and analysis firm PitchBook’s Global league tables: Q3 2024.

The firm ranked within the top 25 global firms in several private equity categories (measured by deal count), including the following:

  • By Representing Investors: Most active globally and in the United States
  • By General Geography: Most active in the United States
  • By U.S. Jurisdiction: Most active in the Great Lakes, West Coast, Southeast and South
  • By Sector: Most active in healthcare and business-to-consumer transactions.
