Courtney joined Reed Smith in 2014 as an associate in the Global Regulatory Enforcement Group. Courtney’s professional experience includes performing extensive legal research on a variety of civil, criminal, and procedural issues in the areas of antitrust, health care, federal and state court litigation, and alternative dispute resolution. She has also drafted a number of motions, responses, and memoranda, several of which were filed in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. In addition, Courtney is dedicated to providing pro bono service to clients in need. Most recently, Courtney has become involved in the Name Change Project in Allegheny County, which provides pro bono assistance to members of the transgender community seeking a legal name change.
