Bryon is the Director of Practice Support for the global offices at Reed Smith and has extensive experience in the e-discovery, practice technology and legal project management fields. In this role, Bryon leads a team of technology professionals responsible for delivering innovative legal technology solutions and providing consultative direction, to internal and external clientele, pertaining to electronic evidence management and general e-discovery issues.
With more than 15 years of experience in the technology services arena and 13 years in AM Law 100 firm environments, Bryon has handled the development, staffing, and management of litigation technology service departments including the implementation of revenue generating legal business units. In addition to leveraging technology to provide innovative solutions to clients, Bryon advises on complex discovery issues involved in properly identifying, preserving, harvesting, minimizing, reviewing and producing electronically stored information (“ESI”). Bryon is well educated in courtroom technology and has first-hand trial experience providing clients with case specific trial solutions.
Prior to joining Reed Smith, Bryon served as lead technology consultant – focused on electronic evidence risk management for multiple global AM Law 100 firms, including Nixon Peabody LLP, Williams & Connolly LLP and Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison LLP, representing Fortune 500 companies engaged in high profile litigation matters ranging from government investigations to complex patent litigation.
