Lindsey is a counsel in the restructuring & insolvency group, where she has experience representing debtors-in-possession, secured lenders, and landlord creditors in Chapter 11 matters. Lindsey also has experience representing secured creditors and governmental entities in adversary proceedings relating to claim allowance and preference claims.
Lindsey also focuses her practice on consumer financial services litigation and has experience representing financial institutions in complex business litigation matters. Her practice includes all facets of litigation, including case analysis, discovery, motion practice, deposition preparation, court appearances, hearings, mediation, settlement negotiations and trial preparation. Lindsey has defended financial institutions in a variety of cases, including matters alleging violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA).
