Robyn is a counsel in the Entertainment and Media group. She is a corporate attorney with a strong focus in the entertainment industry and a proven expertise in the purchase and sale of music companies and music related assets including copyrights, income streams and name and likeness rights. With a deep knowledge of both the music business and market M&A deal terms, Robyn represents music publishing companies, record labels, private equity and other investment funds, songwriters, artists, and estates in connection with buy-side and sell side equity and asset transactions.
Additionally, as a trusted advisor, Robyn counsels her clients on optimal corporate structures for their business endeavors, negotiates and drafts their complex operating, stockholder, and joint-venture agreements, facilitates their private placements in compliance with state and federal securities laws, and resolves business disputes, avoiding the need for costly litigation.
Robyn also drafts a variety of commercial agreements, executive employment agreements, independent contractor agreements, and non-disclosure agreements. She also acts as general counsel to clients in a variety of industries.
Previously, Robyn was a DJ, spinning house, pop and hip hop the old school way.
