As Reed Smith’s Global Solutions Centre Director, Barry is responsible for the leadership of the Office and Legal Services operations delivered from our Leeds space. Global Solutions Leeds provides a wide variety of global services to the firm in multiple languages. Barry’s scope includes process and procedure documentation, service level definition and performance, our Sigma program and quality management, and the adoption of new technology.
Barry has more than 20 years' experience of working in Shared Services in a variety of roles at different businesses. Barry has extensive international experience, having lived and worked across locations in Europe and Asia. He combines his industry knowledge and experience with a real passion for the Shared Services sector.
A qualified Six Sigma professional, Barry’s focus is on service, quality and efficiency. Barry uses a variety of Sigma techniques and business process improvement tools to help streamline our team’s activities, so that everything we do directly relates to the service being delivered and is important to the customer.
Barry has been at the forefront of applying the latest digital technologies within the Shared Services arena to maximise accuracy and efficiency, including delivering award winning integrated automation projects.
