Anne is a member of the firm's Global Commercial Disputes Group. She has litigated a wide range of corporate and commercial disputes primarily in the Delaware Court of Chancery, Delaware Superior Court, and the District of Delaware. Anne has a particular interest in private company disputes, including "business divorce" cases involving founders and others with a personal, as well as financial, stake in the business.
Anne is experienced in all aspects of the life cycle of a Delaware case, from pre-filing considerations, to eDiscovery and discovery disputes, Delaware deposition practice and briefing, pre-trial motion practice, trial, and beyond. In addition to her work in Delaware, Anne routinely assists and advises on litigation matters throughout the United States.
Prior to attending law school, Anne earned a Ph.D. in philosophy and taught college-level philosophy for several years. Anne credits her study of philosophy, combined with her experience as a lecturer, with developing her considered approach to litigation and her ability to bridge communication gaps between diverse audiences. She takes a thoughtful and pragmatic approach to business disputes, which includes a holistic view of the client’s situation and specific goals.
Anne is also active as a writer and speaker, both on important developments in Delaware business and corporate law, as well as on ethical issues facing business people and the attorneys who counsel them.
