Evelyn Wang is a banking and finance partner based in Hong Kong. Evelyn focuses her practice on representing financial institutions, credit funds, corporates and private equity sponsors, regarding complex cross-border acquisition financing, dividend recapitalisation, hybrid debt/equity investments, fund financing, margin financing and real estate financing in Greater China and Southeast Asia.
Prior to joining Reed Smith, Evelyn was an investment banker at one of the biggest Chinese investment banks in Hong Kong. Her role focused on financial sponsor coverage, advising both global and regional private equity sponsors, as well as the structuring and execution of structured finance deals. She also worked at a leading U.S. multinational law firm for various debt financing transactions, representing private equity sponsors and corporates.
