Jennifer joined Reed Smith in January 2012 as an associate in the State Tax Group in the New York Office. With a considerable interest and educational background in both finance and tax, Jennifer focuses her practice on all issues concerning New York State and City Tax law. She has particular experience with New York City general corporation tax matters, due to time spent working at the NYC Department of Taxation and Finance in the Tax Audit, Policy and Enforcement Division. In addition, Jennifer’s experience spans the gamut, having experience working with low-income taxpayers, Fortune 500 companies, and high-net worth individuals in audits, administrative appeals, offers in compromise, state courts and other tax collection matters.
