As courts continue to recognize the enormous resources spent during discovery, and push parties to cooperate to cut costs, issues with privilege assertions and privilege logs remain as points of contention among parties, and add to discovery spend.  It is therefore imperative to understand the protections afforded by various privileges and potential ways to cut costs.  This webinar will explore the parameters of the most common privileges, the complicated in-house legal vs. business advice distinction, and potential cost-saving ways to log email chains and prepare privilege logs.
