Paris-based international arbitration lawyer Peter Rosher will take part in a training session, hosted by the French Arbitration Association (Association Francaise d’Arbitrage, AFA), entitled “Cross-examination des témoins: Quand la common law s'invite chez les civilistes.” The interactive training session, in French, will cover the rules governing the cross-examination of witnesses. Peter was elected to the board of directors of the AFA in 2017.

Four participants will play the role of “advisors,” cross-examining two financial experts; two professional experts experienced in cross-examinations will act as “expert witnesses”; and four lawyers (combining civil law and common law backgrounds) will play the role of the arbitral tribunal, offering top tips and pitfalls to avoid.
