May 13, 2015 – A Reed Smith deal team was recognized for providing counsel on an award-winning deal at The M&A Advisor 7th Annual International M&A Awards gala April 28 in New York.

Reed Smith, an international law firm, provided counsel on the acquisition of Metro International Trade Services by Reuben Brothers. The deal was selected as the “Cross Border M&A Deal of the Year (Over $100 million-$250 million).”

The 7th Annual M&A Awards honored leading deal teams, firms and professionals whose activities set the standard for cross-border M&A transactions. More than 500 companies, representing all major markets worldwide, were finalists for the awards. Award winners were selected by an independent judging committee of 19 top cross-border M&A industry experts.

Reed Smith partner David Grimes, who led the deal team that represented Reuben Brothers, attended the dinner.
