Paris (26 June 2017) – Reed Smith has found a new home in Paris following its strategic growth in 2017. Since the start of the year, 30 lawyers have joined the firm, growing its numbers to almost 70 lawyers, including 23 partners. The new office space in the Centre d’Affaires Paris Trocadéro will mark the start of a new chapter for the firm.

“Although the Paris office is moving only 300 metres away, the move is part of its ambitious expansion”, commented the five partners of the Paris Council, the management body of Reed Smith Paris. “The move reflects a twofold purpose: offer a quality work environment to our teams and host our French and international clients, as from today, in modern and larger premises.”

The newly renovated Centre d’Affaires Paris Trocadéro has just obtained ISO 50001 certification (a certification standard that helps organisations with their energy management strategies, in order to reduce their energy use, and therefore their energy costs and greenhouse gas emissions), thereby becoming the first French business centre with energy management certification. The centre has also obtained HQE Exploitation certification (which certifies the high environmental standards of buildings in use), with an exceptional standard awarded for its sustainable management strategy. Reed Smith is proud to have adopted an environmentally responsible approach.
