Sophie acts as counsel and litigator for French and international clients using or otherwise exploiting all types of content. She has significant experience in music, imagery and advertising and is also experienced in advising companies operating in cutting-edge areas, including the next breed of video games, e-sports, digital heritage, all kinds of virtual, augmented and mixed reality. As a European copyright law expert, she often advises both media and technology businesses on their lobbying strategies and all kinds of European copyright law issues. In Paris, Sophie will be leading the French Entertainment & Media practice. “I am very excited at the prospect of bringing Reed Smith’s world-class expertise and sector knowledge to the French market at a time when the digital media and technology ecosystems are booming in Paris. I look forward to introducing Reed Smith’s highly commercial approach to a new audience and to making a difference to businesses competing in a globalised industry” says Sophie.
