Reed Smith was awarded the highest ranking for "New business & service delivery models" in the FT 2018 North America Innovative Lawyers Report. The firm was also shortlisted for “most innovative law firms for business of law” (North America) and “accessing new markets & capital” (Europe).

In the special report, released in today's edition of the Financial Times, Reed Smith received the highest combined score for originality, leadership, and impact out of ten entries shortlisted for this year's "New business & service delivery models" honor.

The firm was specifically recognized for its Client Value Team, which, as the report notes, "helps the firm improve the delivery of services, win work and manage pricing and budgets."

The report highlights the firm's Quick Pricing Tool, which is among the firm's suite of in-house technologies and custom legal services. As noted by FT: “More than 80 per cent of the firm's matters are priced with its quick pricing tool, which improves its ability to win pitches.”

Also commended in this year's report was Reed Smith's Client Value Team leader Suzanne Hawkins for leading an in-house legal team that handled "more than 500 matters for nearly 100 clients and provides more than 175 dashboard reports each month…."
