Honorable, who previously served as FERC Commissioner and now co-chairs Reed Smith’s Energy Regulatory team, was invited to participate in the EnVision Forum by FERC Chairman, Neil Chatterjee, who organized the event.

According to a joint news release from FERC and CAER, the Forum focused on “finding solutions to the challenges posed by the market and fuel transitions that are changing the face of the energy industry.”

Honorable joined other former FERC members, Jon Wellinghoff and Rob Powelson, along with a diverse group of thought leaders from the natural gas, electric, coal, nuclear, oil and renewable energy industries, as well as from the telecommunications and water industries, international and scientific communities, environmental and consumer organizations, state regulatory agencies and labor unions, investment firms, think tanks and academia.

“We want to start some new conversations with new voices and create relationships and understanding among the range of interests that are affected by this energy transition,” stated Chatterjee in the FERC-CAER news release.
