Latinvex selects Top 100 lawyers based on factors that include recent track record on major deals and business, prominence of firm in Latin America, and rankings by third parties (such as Chambers and Partners, Legal 500 and Refinitiv). It also relies on publicly available information, and on its annual survey of international firms.

This is the sixth year in a row that Rivero, who co-chair’s Reed Smith’s Latin American Business Team, has been included in Latinvex’s Top 100 list. Rivero is former co-practice leader of Reed Smith’s International Arbitration Group.

Astigarraga, an experienced arbitration lawyer who works on international business disputes, has been ranked in Latinvex’s Top 100 without fail since the rankings debuted, a total of seven times. He joined Reed Smith in April 2017.
