The Reed Smith deal team was led by Matthew J. Petersen, partner and Nicholas Gibson, associate, in the firm’s Chicago office and Ben Clark, associate, in Pittsburgh.

PacStar, a private company, is a leading provider of tactical communications systems and network communications software for battlefield network management. The acquired business will operate within Curtiss-Wright’s Defense segment and is expected to generate sales in excess of $120 million in 2020.
