HONG KONG - Global law firm Reed Smith has been awarded Deal of the Year 2020 by China Business Law Journal for its role in advising on Smoore International's Hong Kong initial public offering.

Smoore is a global leader in offering vaping technology solutions, including manufacturing vaping devices and vaping components. 

Reed Smith advised the sponsor, namely, CLSA Capital Markets Limited and the underwriters. The judges recognized the firm for successfully navigating global legal regulations relating to vaping devices, including Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations on vaping devices and some of their applications in the medicinal cannabis industry.
