LONDON - Global law firm Reed Smith today announced that it has advised GlobalData plc, the leading provider of industry intelligence, on its acquisition of both LMCA Holdings Limited and LMCI Holdings Limited, which provide data, analytics, and insights of the automotive and agribusiness markets respectively.

The acquisition complements GlobalData’s existing automotive intelligence capabilities and expands their expertise by integrating the agribusiness data into their existing sector coverage.

The Reed Smith team advising GlobalData was led in London by Global Corporate Group partners Philip Taylor and Sam Webster, with support from a cross-practice team of corporate, tax, labour & employment, real estate and intellectual property lawyers based in the UK, the US, Germany and China.
