Alaniz represents distressed companies in out-of-court workouts and Chapter 11 restructurings. He also represents creditor committees, equity holders, joint venture partners, boards of directors, and other key stakeholders. He has substantial experience in energy restructurings, including onshore and offshore matters. He also does significant work in financial industries, real estate, aviation, and health care matters. He joined Reed Smith in 2020 and has been practicing law since 2003.
